About the event
Who decides which stories get told? We are excited to share that we will be partnering with KERA to present a screening of the PBS Indie Lens Pop Up film, "Breaking the News", following the journey of female and LGBTQ+ journalists bucking the white male-dominated status quo to start their own grassroots digital news startup. This will be followed by a discussion on the importance of our individual stories, and we have a great panel lined up.
